chillie pickle / मिरचीचे लोणचे |
Chilli pickle recipe is a tasty, instant Indian style pickle made with fresh long green chillis, Indian spices like mustard, hing and turmeric, mustard oil.
Ingredients :
- 1/2 kg of green chilies
- 2 tbsp salt or to taste
- 1/2 cup mustard powder (red mustard)
- 1/4 tbsp hing
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 2-3 lemon
- 2 tbsp mustard oil
- Cut chilies in half or 2 inches.
- Cut lemons in large slices.
- Add salt, hing, mustard powder, turmeric in a bowl.
- Now heat oil in a pan and once the oil is heated, pour it over the mustard powder mixture(step 3).
- Once the masala is combined, let it cool. then add chilies and lemon slices. Mix it well.
- In a clean and dry glass vessel, add this chili pickle.
- Let it sprout for 4 to 5 days.
- keep shaking glass vessel(chilies pickle container) every day for 3-4 days.
- make sure that always keep container closed tightly.
